Itinerary

Day 1 (26th Dec) : Hanoi - Arrival & Half Day City Tour

  • Upon reaching Hanoi, complete the immigration and visa on arrival process at the airport.
  • Meet our representative at the airport and board your transfers to reach the pre-booked hotel.
  • Complete the check-in procedure at the hotel and get ready to explore this capital city of Vietnam.
  • Afternoon, visit the Temple of Literature built in 1070 and regarded as the First University in Vietnam, the Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son temple and take a walk at the Old Quarter to experience the exciting local daily life of Hanoians, shopping free around The Old Quarter that have stock of trendy to basic clothing and thousands of small craft and boutique shops offering variety of Vietnamese handicraft products.

Day 2 (27th Dec) : Hanoi - Ninh Binh - Tam Coc Day Excursion

  • Have a hearty breakfast at the hotel and get ready to start your day. (Pickup: 8 am).
  • Board your transfers to Ninh Binh province which is blessed with rich natural landscapes.
  • Around 10:30 am you will reach Hoa Lu, an Ancient Capital of the Dinh dynasty (968 - 1009); after which 29 years later King Ly Thai of the Le Dynasty moved the capital to Thang Long - present-day Hanoi.
  • Visit the age-old temples that have been built on the grounds of the old royal palace to know more about the feudal dynasties and the historical periods in Vietnamese history.
  • In the afternoon walk to the boat station and start a 2-hour boat trip to Tam Coc, popularly known as “Halong Bay on land”,
  • This boat ride on the Ngo Dong river will take you through the peaceful scenery of the Limestone Mountains, rice paddies, and magnificent temples.
  • On the way pass through a series of 3 caves which are named Hang Ca (first cave), Hang Hai (second cave), and Hang Ba (third cave).
  • Upon completing the boat ride, begin your journey back to Hanoi.
  • Return back to the hotel in Hanoi for an overnight stay.

Day 3 (28th Dec) : Hanoi to Halong Bay - Transfer & Cruise Stay

  • Have a hearty breakfast at the hotel and begin your journey to Halong Bay.
  • This journey will take you through the Red River Delta where you can see the everyday life of the Vietnamese Villagers.
  • 10:00 – 12:00: Check in at Ambassador’s Lounge 
  • 12:00 – 12:30: Passengers are transferred to Ambassador Cruise and a short welcoming briefing will be held at the Piano Lounge or at the restaurant, whilst you are sipping our special welcome drink.
  • 12:45 – 14:00: Savor a buffet lunch whilst enjoying the majestic views of the World Natural Wonder, Halong Bay limestone islets.
  • 14:30 – 15:30: Your first excursion is a visit to Luon Cave – one of the most unique caves in Halong Bay featuring the self-contained lake inside a closed arch-shaped mountain, where you can experience sitting on a bamboo boat rowed by a local or Kayaking*. 
  • 16:00 – 17:00: Visit Titov Island – a splendid destination encompassing a crescent moon-shaped beach, where you can immerse yourself in the turquoise water and climb to the top of the Island beholding the breathtaking 360o view of the bay. 
  • 15:45 – 16:30: For guests who are not participating in any excursions, we will serve home-made cakes at the Piano Lounge. Guests can also stay onboard and opt for an afternoon of pampering at Atelier de Beauté Spa* or immersing yourself in the outdoor Jacuzzi pool. 
  • 17:30 – 18:30: At sundown, Ambassador Cruise will anchor overnight.
  • This is the perfect time for you to enjoy cooking class or Happy Hour* and Canapes at the Piano Lounge or on the Sundeck (depends on weather conditions) and live music at the Piano Lounge before dinner and guaranteed to whet the appetite.
  • 19:00: Savor a delicious dinner with Chef’s special menu at the restaurant.

  • After dinner, indulge in drinks* and enjoy live music from Midnight Buzz Band at the Piano Lounge from 20:30 – 22:30 (except Tuesday), squid fishing, a spa treatment at Atelier de Beauté Spa*, or movies at your cabin.

Day 4  (29th Dec) : Halong Bay to Danang - Cruise Disembark & Transfer Via Hanoi to Danang

  • 6:30 – 7:00: Start your day with a Taichi session on the sundeck or at the Piano Lounge (depends on weather conditions).
  • 7:00 – 7:30: Enjoy light breakfast with coffee, tea, and freshly baked pastries at the Piano Lounge.
  • 7:30 – 8:20: Explore Sung Sot Cave – the largest and most magnificent cave in the bay featuring marvelous and mysterious thousand-year-old stalactites in a variety of unique forms.
  • 8:30 – 9:30: Full breakfast is served at the restaurant.
  • 9:30 – 9:45: Bill settlement and check-out at the reception at the first deck.
  • 10:15 – 10:30: Disembark at the Halong International Cruise Port.
  • Spend the rest of the time at leisure until you reach back on the coast of Hanoi.
  • The driver will pick you up from the Halong Bay Harbor and take you to Hanoi Airport for your flight to Da Nang.
  • Upon reaching Da Nang, you will be transferred to your pre-booked hotel for an overnight stay.
  • Complete the check-in formalities at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 5 (30th Dec) : Visit to Coconut Jungle - Hoi An City - Boat ride & release flower lantern

  • 12:00 – 12:15 The van and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel (Da Nang area)
  • 13:00 Start your adventure with Cam Thanh Coconut for being a fisherman at Cam Thanh Coconut Village, you will experience about learning traditional fishing techniques and how to row unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boats while exploring the tranquil coconut palm waterways of the past war. On this tour, we provide authentic social and cultural insight into the local way of life in Vietnam. Furthermore, you will take part in some hands-on activities which are fun, safe, and interested are suitable for everybody.
  • 15:00 Our tour guide will take you to the Hoi An Old Town. – Go to the PhucKien Chinese Assembly Hall, a colourful mélange of bright gates, dragon statues, and elaborate rooftops. Get an introduction to ancestor worship while visiting the family altar and watching local devotees making offerings. – You will see remarkably well-preserved old houses Phung Hung Ancient House or Tan Ky Ancient House – That have withstood 200 years of weather and war. Learn about the prosperous merchants who used to live in these homes, trading with buyers from all around the world. Museum of Folklore in Hoi An – A display of artifacts depicting ancient local daily life in a 150-year-old Chinese merchant house. - Make a stop at the Japanese Bridge. The bridge spans a small waterway and was constructed more than 400 years ago to connect the Japanese community with the Chinese who lived on the other side of the water. Admire the carvings and paintings inside the bridge, learning about their symbolism and cultural significance. – Additionally, visit some of Hoi An’s well-known handicraft shops and artwork galleries. Discover smaller laneways and local neighbourhoods gaining a better appreciation of Hoi An’s endless charm.

  • 18:30 – Enjoy your time with the boat ride on Hoai River and release the flower lanterns to pray for good luck for you and your family. You will immerse yourself in the fanciful space of the lantern street. Free your time with the night market and enjoy the shimmering space of Hoi An.

Day 6 (31st Dec) : Bana hills - Golden Bridge 

  • Wake up and have a hearty breakfast to energize yourself for an exciting day on this Vietnam tour (Pickup - 8 am).
  • Get ready and board the transfer that will take you to Ba Na Hills (literally translates to - King Mountain).
  • Reach Ba Na Hills approx. by 10:30 am and stop at Dream Stream Cable car Station.
  • Admire the high rolling hills by the most modem cable car system in Southeast Asia.
  • Reach the first station and visit a French Vine cellar and Linh Ung pagoda to see a mesmerizing panorama of Da Nang city.
  • Have a buffet lunch at the restaurant on the peak and later spend a fun time at Fantasy Park.
  • Explore King peak and get varied vistas of Hana Hills and Quang Nam.
  • Reach on top of the mountain to visit Linh Tu pagoda and take a walk on the 150-meter long GOLDEN BRIDGE.
  • Take a walk on this beautiful bridge situated at a height of 1400M, between a sea of clouds supported by giant hands just like in the movies.
  • After admiring the views and capturing the memories, start your journey back to Da Nang.
  • Upon reaching, spend the rest of the evening at leisure on a beach.
  • Return back for an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7 (01 Jan) : Danang to Ho Chi Minh City - Arrival & Half Day City Tour

  • Post breakfast in the hotel, and get transferred to Danang Airport.
  • Board your flight to Ho Chi Minh city, the cultural and financial capital of Vietnam located in the Southern part of the country.
  • Reach Ho Chi Minh City and board your transfer to the hotel.
  • Complete the check-in formalities at the hotel and rest for some time.
  • Begin your city tour by first visiting the former Presidential Palace, the headquarters of the Saigon Government during the Vietnam-American war.
  • Next, visit the War Remnants Museum which contains exhibits relating to the Vietnam War.
  • Visit the red-bricked Notre Dame Cathedral, whose construction is based on the original cathedral of Paris.
  • Stop by the Central Post Office which was designed by a French architect - Gustav Eiffel.
  • The rest of the evening is free for leisure wherein you can choose to explore the other landmarks like the Reunification Palace, Pink Church, etc.
  • You can also sit and admire the shades of the sunset from the Cafe apartment - a unique old apartment building turned into cafes and restaurants where you can enjoy your Vietnamese-style coffee.
  • You can also visit the Bến Thành market - Vietnam’s best shopping center to indulge in a shopping spree.
  • Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 8 (02 Jan) : Full Day Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta

  • Wake up and have a delicious breakfast at the hotel.
  • Get ready to visit one of the most interesting places related to the Vietnam War period - the Cu Chi Tunnels.
  • Located 60 km from Ho Chi Minh, Cu Chi is a network of over 200km of tunnels that were functioning as underground cities including numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers & kitchens.
  • Watch a short introductory video on how the tunnels were constructed before heading the explore these tunnels.
  • There is plenty of evidence of the fierce battle that took place here during the 1960s when Cu Chi was a “Free Target Zone”.
  • After exploring the tunnels for an hour, Board your transfer to My Tho city, after which you will be starting the one-and-a-half-hour bus ride that will take you through the lush green landscapes of the rice paddies.
  • Later, embark on a boat ride along the Mekong River as it is the only means of transportation to explore this region.
  • Watch the fisherman fishing using the fish cages from their unique floating houses on the river.
  • The boat will further take you through a small canal to one of the two islands in the region famous for producing the local specialties like coconut candy, coconut handicrafts, etc.
  • You can also visit the bee farms to try the freshly made honey and taste the honey wine.
  • Stop by and listen to Vietnamese traditional music as performed by the villagers (Đàn Ca Tài Tử – A folk art form from Southern Vietnam accredited by UNESCO in 2013 as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity).
  • Click some postcard-perfect pictures of the surrounding vistas before heading to a local restaurant for lunch.
  • Re-energize yourself by having a special Vietnamese lunch prepared by the locals in a natural setting under the shade of the trees.
  • During this tour, you will also visit the Vinh Trang pagoda, the biggest pagoda in the Mekong delta.
  • The rest of the time is at leisure for you to relax and take walk around.
  • Later, start your journey back to the city and where you can spend the rest of the evening at leisure.
  • Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
