Itinerary

Day 1 - Arriving in Cochin (Kochi) 

Upon arrival at the Ernakulam Railway Station or Kochi Airport, you will be cordially welcomed and driven to one of the hotels on our list. Enjoy admiring the gorgeous hillsides covered with tea and spice crops as you navigate the twisting roads. The town's architecture and buildings have a cosmopolitan spirit that permeates the metropolis.

Once there, take some time to relax before finishing your market shopping. Purchase premium spices, nuts, and handicrafts to enjoy a fantastic evening.

The goal is to spend the night at the hotel.

Day 2: Cochin Sightseeing

Spend day 2 enjoying local sightseeing after a substantial breakfast at the hotel. The Jewish Synagogue, constructed in 1568, will be your destination today. The area's small-town charm is enhanced by the presence of the oldest operational synagogue, which also has a collection of priceless antiques. The hand-painted blue willow pattern tiles and the exquisite interiors of the building are other noteworthy features.

The St. Francis Church, the nation's oldest church built in Europe, is next in line. The church is a famous landmark, loved for its atmosphere and architecture (closed on Sundays from 08.00 to 11.00 hrs). Continue your exploration of the Dutch Palace, commonly known as Mattancherry Palace (closed on Fridays and legal holidays).

Observe the finely detailed murals that portray the personas of the Kochi rulers. Observe the Chinese fishing nets that embellish Kochi's shoreline to round off your journey. The evening features a Kathakali dance performance that can be scheduled for an extra fee.

Day 3: Cochin to Munnar (about 5 to 6 hours)

The day is set out for a drive to Munnar, a stunning hill town in Kerala. The picturesque location, often called the "Switzerland of India," is a honeymooner's ideal. The location offers a tranquil refuge because of the abundance of nature.

Once you arrive, do the check-in procedures and head to Eravikulam National Park for a wildlife safari. The park, which is visited by visitors, is home to the threatened Nilgiri Tahr. Visitors also enjoy the park's undulating hills, tea plantations, and Neelakurunji, an unique blue flower that only blooms once every 12 years.
After the fascinating trek, head to the Munnar town market. Buy whatever you can. Purchase your preferred tea kind, fragrant essential oils, spices, etc.

Return to the hotel for the night once you've done all the shopping you want to.

Day 4 - Munnar - 

The Exotic Kerala tour's Day 4 in Munnar begins with a sumptuous breakfast. The park, a paradise for environment lovers, provides plenty of opportunity for animal observation and trekking excursions. The area, also called the Rajamalai National Park, is covered with shola woods. There are a ton of more interesting locations in and around the park. Additionally, on this region, leopards, Indian bison, and Nilgiri langurs coexist.

The goal is to spend the night at the hotel.

Day 5: Periyar and Munnar

Get up early in the morning to take a stroll around Munnar's beautiful tea farms. Leave towards Periyar National Park after that. The wildlife refuge draws tourists with its many activities, including rafting, safaris, and other exhilarating adventures. Upon finishing the check-in procedures at the rainforest resort. You are in for a heart-pounding encounter.

At the Periyar/Thekkady National Park, take pleasure in viewing a variety of birds and creatures like elephants, tigers, wild boar, deer, etc. A thrilling boat excursion on Periyar Lake is planned for this evening. By doing this, you may fully experience the sanctuary's setting.

Go back to the lodge to spend the night.

Day 6: Kumarakom and Periyar

Today, you will travel for approximately four hours to Kumarakom via road. Kumarakom, a well-known backwater tourist spot in Kerala, is unquestionably the most energizing, interesting sanctuary. This tranquil village, which is emerald green and surrounded by mangrove woods and coconut trees, is situated on Vembanad Lake. The area is a lovely picnic location since it provides extremely thrilling sailing, fishing, and sightseeing opportunities.

For an extra fee, we may set up a dayboat cruise that includes lunch on Lake Vembanad. You will see several houseboats, as well as canoes and other traditional country vessels, throughout the joyride.Observe how the lake's fresh water enters the land, creating a maze of brooks, lagoons, and canals. Make the decision to tour the city and go shopping later in the evening.

Return to the hotel to spend the night at Kumarakom.

Day 7: Kumarakom - Alleppey

Experience the charm of a houseboat, also known as a kettuvallam, on an exhilarating backwater trip. Spend the day aboard your floating hotel, which is furnished with all the latest conveniences. Keep a watchful eye on village life while sailing. Unquestionably, doing so provides a singular and remarkable experience. Admire the sights of the sunset. Find out more about the wonderful network of canals, the lush beauty of coconut lagoons, and the lush beauty of evergreen paddy fields. Enjoy the meals that will be offered onboard for lunch and supper.

After arriving in Alleppey, spend the night on the houseboat.

Day 8: Alleppey - Cochin and Departure  

Leave from the houseboat at Alleppey and enjoy a comfortable trip to Cochin on Day 8 (the day before departure). alight the plane or train for your next trip.
