Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar -

Fly there in the morning. The IHPL staff will assist you in a facilitated transfer to a Jetty on the Boulevard Road after you arrive at the Srinagar airport. After arriving at the Jetty, board your reserved houseboat. A welcoming beverage is provided. Finish the check-in procedures. The remainder of the day is open. Engage in the pursuits that interest you, such as souvenir shopping, indulging in delectable regional cuisine, independent exploration of the neighbourhood, and more. Spend the night on a houseboat.

Day 2: Gulmarg - Srinagar (51 km/ 2 h)

After breakfast today, take a 50-kilometer escorted transfer to the captivating town of Gulmarg, which is located at a height of 2650 metres above sea level. Once there, check into the hotel that you had reserved. After that, have lunch. You can now go about your day whatever you choose. From Gulmarg to Khilanmarg, you may take a pony ride or a gondola ride (cable car). The second-highest ropeway in the world is this two-stage one. Enjoy the breathtaking views while riding the gondola. You may even ascend farther after completing the second step to see well-known locations like the Kabootar Valley and the India-Pak LOC. If you like to play golf, the other choice is to visit the golf course.

Day 3: 142 kilometres (4 hours) from Gulmarg to Pahalgam.

On the third day, after breakfast, be taken to Pahalgam. One of the most well-liked tourist spots is Pahalgam. It is situated along the banks of the Lidder River and has served as the backdrop for countless Bollywood films. Additionally, it serves as the starting point of the renowned Hindu pilgrimage known as the Amarnath Yatra. You may stop at the Avantipur Ruins along the way (time permitting). Two Lord Vishnu temples may be seen there. Check into the hotel when you get there. The day should be spent relaxing. A pony ride or a trip to the neighbourhood market are both options. Take in the gorgeous beauty that surrounds you. Spending the night at Pahalgam.

Day 4: Pahalgam sightseeing.

The day is free to enjoy itself after breakfast. You may take a pony ride or a walk to one of the many stunning locations near Pahalgam (at your own cost). The sights, such as Chandiwari, Aru Valley, and Betaab Valley, must not be missed. Chandanwari, the starting site of the Amarnath Yatra, is a gorgeous picnic location where you can also go sledding. For those who enjoy walking, Betaab Valley is a well-known, attractive destination base campground. A beautiful settlement called Aru Valley is well-known for its serene settings, flowery meadows, and lakes. Rafting on the Lidder River is another adventurous sport you may participate in. Dinner and a hotel stay the next day.

Day 5: Srinagar - Pahalgam

After breakfast, return to Srinagar. Visit the Jyesteshwara temple, also known as the Shankaracharya Hill Temple, which was constructed in the ninth century, after you arrive. Then you witness the well-known Mughal Gardens, a collection of well kept gardens built in the Persian architectural style. The second-largest Mughal terrace garden in Kashmir is Nishat Bagh, also known as the garden of pleasure.

Take a Shikara ride on Dal Lake's placid waters after lunch. Enjoy the stunning view, browse the floating market for trinkets, and so on. The rest of the day should be spent relaxing. In the evening, return to your accommodation to spend the night.

Day 6: 159 kilometres (5 hours) from Srinagar to Sonamarg to Srinagar -

After breakfast on Day 6 a day trip to Sonamarg is planned. The route is full with breathtaking scenery. When you arrive in this lovely town, you have the option of taking a pony ride to Thajiwas Glacier, which is about 7 kilometres from Sonmarg. Snow is always present in this area. Enjoy the beautiful countryside, waterfalls, and mountains coated in snow. This location, which is around 9186 feet above sea level, provides you a number of mesmerising vistas before you return to the houseboat for supper and a night stop.

Day 7: Srinagar - Departure -

Post breakfast on the last day of the tour, enjoy the beautiful surroundings till departure. Then, get transferred to the Srinagar airport to board a flight for departure to your onward destination.
