DAY 1 (21 AUG, 2022): HANOI ARRIVAL (D)
Xin Chao! Welcome to Hanoi, the Capital city of Vietnam!
Upon arrival at Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi, you are welcomed by the tour guide and then transfer to the hotel. The rest of the evening will be free. If you like the Nightlife of Hanoi, let’s explore it on your own and you will be surprised as there’re many things to see and do. Welcome dinner at an Indian restaurant and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 2 (22 AUG, 2022): HANOI CITY (B, L)
After breakfast, you will visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum to explore the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho‘s final resting place. Just next door is Ho Chi Minh‘s house on stilts and lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda which was founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049 – the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi. We then continue the Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda on the West Lake (One of the oldest pagodas in Vietnam) and the Temple of Literature, which was constructed in 1070 dedicating to Confucius, sages and scholars. It was also the first university in Vietnam once. In the evening, enjoy the water puppet show.
DAY 3 (23 AUG, 2022): HANOI – NINH BINH: BAI DINH – TRANG AN (B, L)
Pick up at the hotel after breakfast, we will be driven to Ninh Binh to visit Bai Dinh Spiritual and Culture Complex, the largest Buddhist pagoda complex in the North of Vietnam with 500 La Han statues, the biggest bronze Buddha statue in Vietnam with 10 meters in height, 100 tons in weight. The compound consists of the original old pagoda and a newly created larger pagoda, which is considered the biggest pagoda in Vietnam at this stage.
After visiting the pagoda, we will transfer to a local restaurant for lunch. In the afternoon, we will take a pleasant boat rowing in the Hoang Long River to visit the Trang An Eco-Tourism complex. The complex is surrounded by a picturesque landscape with thousands of hectares with more than 100 caves which can be explored by boat. It is also home to 600 kinds of flora and over 200 kinds of fauna that many of them in the Red book of Vietnam. It is also a gathering of 31 valleys, and 48 cross-water caves and we will visit 3 to 6 of them. On the rowing boat, we can enjoy the fresh air, clean and clear water with underwater grass. Experience the feeling and emotions when we are in the water caves. In the afternoon, at around 4 PM, we will be driven back to Hanoi for overnight accommodation.
DAY 4 (24 AUG, 2022): HANOI – HALONG BAY – OVERNIGHT CRUISE (B, L, D)
Pickup at the hotel after breakfast, we drive to Halong Bay. On arrival, we embark on our cruise followed by a short cruise briefing and then, savour a delectable lunch as we cruise among the limestone islands. In the afternoon, we explore the amazing Sung Sot Cave – the most beautiful cave in Halong Bay before cruising to Titov Island and have free time for swimming and relaxing on the beach or climbing up to the top of the island for a panorama view of Halong Bay.
After that, we return to our boat and continue cruising to the quiet area while enjoying the beautiful seascape on the way. In the late afternoon, we can enjoy Sunset Party on the sundeck and admire the best moments of the day when the sun starts to set. Enjoy dinner and socialize with other guests, take part in board games, fish for squid, or just laze around. Overnight on board.
DAY 5 (25 AUG, 2022): HALONG BAY – HANOI (B, L)
Start our day with Tai Chi exercises or a photo hunt and have breakfast on board and enjoy the peaceful morning of Halong Bay. After that, we enjoy kayak among the hidden areas of the bay, around the Drum Cave. Return to the boat to freshen up and check out of our cabin. Continue your cruise exploring the Bay, passing Ba Hang fishing village, Dog Islet, and more. While we’re heading back to the harbour, we attend in a fruit carving demonstration and participate in the Cooking Class before enjoying a traditional Vietnamese lunch. We disembark our cruise at around noon and get on our car back to Hanoi.
DAY 6 (26 AUG, 2022): HANOI DEPARTURE (B)
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport in good time for the departure flight. Trip ends.
